Jacob A. Crane

Trial Attorney

Jacob A. Crane

Overview

Jacob focuses his practice on two areas of estate planning. Firstly, he helps clients secure, protect, and grow their wealth through robust estate management strategies. Secondly, Jacob leverages his strong litigation background, on behalf of his clients, to file suit to reach the best outcome. Jacob has a strong background in civil litigation, where he has found much success in the pursuit of justice for his clients. In 2023 and 2024, Jacob was recognized as a “Top 40 Under 40” plaintiff civil litigation attorney by the National Trial Lawyers.

Jacob recognizes that people work exceptionally hard over the course of their careers to generate financial security for themselves and their families. And yet, too many people do not have a structured plan to secure their assets in a manner that ensures their continued growth and prosperity.

Credentials

Jacob graduated magna cum laude from Newman University, after which he earned his Juris Doctorate from Washburn University, where he was a legal research and writing teaching assistant for multiple law professors and a CALI award recipient. Following law school, Jacob graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kansas Medical Center with his master’s degree in Health Policy and Management. Jacob recognizes the benefits of education, but it is his love for connecting with his clients on a personal level that motivates him to continue fighting for justice in every case he takes on.

Commitment

Jacob is licensed to practice law in Kansas, Missouri, Texas, and Illinois and is committed to reaching clients across all four jurisdictions. The Praesidium Law Firm is taking a new approach to the world of estate planning that redefines the terms “convenience” and “flexibility.” While most firms have a standard policy that requires you to come to the office and pay hundreds of dollars for a consultation fee, we offer free consultations and will even execute your estate plan wherever it is most convenient for you.
